Our Story

Our Story

Safe Food Resources was founded in 2011 by Vicky Waskiewicz who, after spending many years in Food Manufacturing Management positions, decided it was time for her to take her strong beliefs in protecting the public through food safety and incorporate them into her own entity. She felt she could make a bigger impact on the world by focusing on many organizations and their employees. Not just one. Thus, the consulting business was born.

It wasn’t long before Vicky realized she could impact even more food workers by presenting food safety education opportunities for the industry. She works with established organizations and is certified to teach preventive controls, foreign supplier verification, HACCP, and food defense courses.

The most recent achievement by Vicky and the Safe Food Resources team is the introduction of their on-line food safety training portal with food safety training courses built for the front lines. Our goal is reach food manufacturing companies all around the world with the message of food safety. We Create Food Safety Heroes!™
